“King Lewis” voted AUTOhebdo readers’ favorite in 2024

For the first time, AUTOhebdo invited you to vote for your A favorite of this year 2024. For one week, you were able to vote for your A favorite among ten issues previously selected by the editorial staff for their symbolism, popularity and aesthetics. More than 400 Internet users gave your opinion and voted among the ten proposed front pages.

After an ultra-close vote, it was finally the front page “King Lewis” (n°2470) of July 10 which came first with 19.52% of the votes and which therefore emerged as your favorite AUTOhebdo front page of 2024! This issue, published after a rather daunting British Grand Prix, looks back at length on Lewis Hamilton's incredible victory at Silverstone, ending a drought of almost three years without a victory! A race where the Briton also broke numerous records, such as that of the number of victories on the same circuit.

This front page came first… by a narrow head, since everything was decided by less than ten votes. In second position, the front page “Charles 1er” on the victory of Charles Leclerc in the streets of the Principality of Monaco obtained 18.10% of the votes, while the front page on the unthinkable double podium of Alpine and the French drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, entitled “Gasly & Ocon”, came in third position with 17.62% of the votes. The Top 5 is completed by the front page “Bis repetita” of Ferrari's triumph at the 24 Hours of and by the front page “Magic Senna” on the 30th anniversary of the death of Ayrton Senna.

The AUTOhebdo editorial team takes this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty throughout this incredible motorsport season and wishes you a happy holiday season! See you on January 8 for the next issue, the first of 2025!
