Théo Pourchaire joins the lion's armada in WEC
In the wake of rookies test passed in Bahrain, Théo Pourchaire is announced as the new test and development pilot of the Team Peugeot Sport in Endurance in 2025.
Somewhat shunned by F1 despite a title of Champion an F2put aside by McLaren Arrow SP after some promising stints in IndyCar, Théo Pourchaire will touch Endurance in 2025 under the colors of Peugeot Sport.
The 21 year old French pilot joins the lion armada in WEC as test pilot after having taken charge of Peugeot 9X8 during the Rookie Test on the Bahrain circuit, where he demonstrated his driving skills, his analytical skills and his professionalism.
His promising performance convinced the team to offer him a key role in the development and preparation of the brand's Hypercars for the coming seasons. Pourchaire's role will consist in particular of participate in private testing sessions and contribute to the technical development of the 9X8also to be ready to race quickly in the WEC in the event of the unavailability of a regular driver.
