In Las Vegas, the city of vice and excess, the police must be very busy. Between drunken evenings at the “Very Bad Trip” or crazy nights in front of the slot machines, abuses are numerous in the middle of the Nevada desert.

Vegas is also the scene of… speeding, like everywhere else. So the city's police officers are armed with radars in order to punish drivers who are a little too hasty. But last weekend, there was no question of penalizing extra kilometers per hour for the police.

The police are happy… to see speeding!

The city turned to the rhythm of the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix, a great attraction for the country who came to enjoy a weekend of American-style celebration and excess, and also a little to see the cars racing.

So two police officers, busy monitoring the circuit in a place that would make all fans salivate, decided to take out their mobile radars to pass the time. On the program: flash session on… single-seaters! The two men, happy as kids, find it hard to believe the figures displayed before their eyes: 205 mph, or 330 km/h coming out of the last turn!

A figure that makes you dizzy, but which delights these police officers, happy for the first time to see such speeds displayed on their radars.

In brief

Two agents provided a comical scene when they took out their radars to flash the Formula 1 cars passing in front of them on the Las Vegas circuit.
