Yamaha tested a new part, a big step forward for Quartararo?

Yamaha continues to catch up. After obtaining the title in 2021 thanks to Fabio Quartararo, the Japanese firm has continued to decline in the hierarchy of manufacturers in MotoGP. If improvements were felt at the end of the season, Yamaha still remains far from the best and the places of honor. Obviously, the tests carried out in Barcelona following the last Grand Prix allowed them to experiment with new parts.

A new front wing tested

In addition to a new engine and a new chassis, Yamaha decided to rely on a brand new wing to improve its aerodynamics. The front wing was thus much larger than on the old version. It remains to be seen how the pilots feel with these. Fabio Quartararo said he was rather satisfied with the improvements. Response during the next test scheduled for February in Sepang.
