The FFF rejected Paris SG's request to re-examine the LFP's injunction to pay 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses to the French striker.
The French Football Federation (FFF) has rejected Paris SG's request to review the Professional Football League's (LFP) injunction to pay 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses to its former player Kylian Mbappé, it has been learned L‘AFP from a source close to the matter on Friday.
The request to the Executive Committee of the FFF was transmitted a day too late by PSG, according to the same source, while the club had 10 days to make it from the decision of the joint appeals committee of the LFP in favor of the player, on October 25.
The LFP legal commission recommended mediation
PSG, which was notified of this decision on Friday morning, did not expect an outcome in its favor with ComEx. There was little chance that the latter would disavow a decision motivated by two successive legal commissions of the LFP. But this rejection for formal reasons comes as a surprise.
Seized by Kylian Mbappé, who is demanding 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and other bonuses from the capital club, the LFP legal commission recommended mediation in September. But, faced with the player's refusal, she immediately decided to ask PSG to pay this sum within a week.

PSG then lodged an appeal, which was rejected, before turning to the FFF Executive Committee.
An appeal in principle since the management of the club has confided several times in private, in recent weeks, that the conflict should probably end before the industrial tribunal, if Kylian Mbappé decided to refer it to them.
In the meantime, the club theoretically has at its disposal recourse before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) and before an administrative court. Asked by AFP on Friday noon, PSG did not reveal its intentions. But until then, he has sought to complete the procedures.
The conflict originates in the status of an agreement reached in August 2023 between the striker and the club's management.
Kylian Mbappé did not wish to extend with Paris SG
The captain of the French team was then excluded from the group for refusing to extend his contract with PSG. This extension would have guaranteed the club to receive the money from a transfer while Mbappé finally signed up free this summer with Real Madrid.
In this agreement, the player agreed to waive 55 million in various bonuses if he were to leave free at the end of the season.
But the validity of this agreement, which the player himself spoke publicly to journalists in January, is contested by the star's camp.
