Formula 1 | McLaren heads to Vegas for title-crucial hat-trick of races

Lando Norris returns to the track in Las Vegas with one goal: to fend off, if possible again, Max Verstappen's 4th title in Formula 1.

To do this, the McLaren driver must essentially focus on finishing his race in front, which his MCL38 can potentially do. But the main mission will remain above all to continue to get ahead of Ferrari, very threatening in the constructors' championship.

“It's good to be back! We'll be in the spotlight in Las Vegas. Driving along the Strip is really cool, and I can't wait to race there with the MCL38. We had a good car this year and the peloton is incredibly strong, so I can’t wait to see what we can do this weekend.”

Oscar Piastri to him too “Looking forward to heading to Las Vegas and starting an important hat-trick of races. We are working hard to maintain our lead in the Constructors' Championship and finish the season strong.”

“The aim is to give everything to achieve more victories and podiums before the end of the season. There is a lot of hard work and determination within the team and I am extremely motivated to achieve more success in this last part of the season.”

Andrea Stella, team director, sets the goals.

“After a busy treble in the Americas, we now head to Las Vegas. This is the first race of the final treble of the season and one of the most difficult from a calendar perspective. As expected, the peloton remains incredibly competitive, but we have a strong car and a strong team that has worked hard all season to put us in a great position.”

“It's been an incredibly busy season for everyone, and now is the final push to get the job done. We remain focused because we know the hard work isn't over yet. Every point counts and the team is motivated to make sure we run a good race and provide the drivers with the best possible package.”
