The signing of Gabriel Bortoleto at Sauber for the 2025 F1 season has finally closed the transfer window. After numerous rumors and speculation around the various last minute changes, the drivers' grid is finally complete for next year. The Swiss team has made the decision to part ways with its two men: Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou. While the Finn is undoubtedly on the verge of re-signing with Mercedes, as a reserve and developer, his Chinese teammate would have found refuge within a prestigious team.
According to information from our Italian colleagues at Corriere della Serathe Shanghai native would be on the verge of joining the Ferrari family. He is expected to take on the role of reserve driver, due to the departure of Oliver Bearman to Haas. For the moment, nothing is official, more information is to come in the following weeks.
