Romain Grosjean recently spoke about his former F1 team, with which he finished his career a few years ago. Admiring the work and results obtained by Ayao Komatsu, the Franco-Swiss driver even mentioned the idea of a return to the premier category. Obviously, it was more of a joke than anything else, the latter having no chance of returning after so many years spent away from the Formula 1 circuits.

He continued, answering the question of whether he had always considered Komatsu as an engineer with the potential to become an F1 team boss. “No, you never know. It's a different role, it's a different approach, there's also a bit of political and media games. I had no idea about this part [de lui].
