Michael Schumacher's last Ferrari, the Ferrari 248 F1, will be auctioned by RM Sotheby's from November 14.
Before retiring for the first time at the end of the 2006 season, Michael Schumacher fought for an eighth World Champion title against Fernando Alonso that year.
The German, winner of seven Grands Prix in 2006, finally failed 13 points behind the Renault driver, after notably suffering an engine failure in Japan, during the penultimate race of the season.
The chassis up for auction is number 254 which, in the hands of Michael Schumacher, had that year surpassed the pole position record previously held by Ayrton Senna.
This chassis was purchased from Scuderia Ferrari in 2007 and has remained in sole ownership ever since.
The auction of this magnificent Ferrari 248 F1 will begin from November 14, 2024. Please note that no estimated price is announced, the estimate being only available on request.
