Snow and ice could take over the Morbihan roads from this Saturday, January 18. The Morbihan prefecture has placed the department on yellow alert (level 2 on a scale of 4), in view of the weather forecasts.
Until 10 a.m., Sunday morning, it invites motorists to drive slowly, to increase safety distances, particularly on bridges, in wet areas, on roads in the undergrowth, where the risk of encountering ice is more important. And naturally, make way for salting and snow removal machines: let them open the way, “and follow in their footsteps”, reminds the prefecture.
