Luke Durbridge (Jayco-AlUla) won the Australian road racing championships this Sunday morning. The 33-year-old runner anticipated the final battle by attacking 100 kilometers from the finish with another runner. After having left him behind, Durbridge opened the road alone for a long time before being joined by his teammate and defending champion, Luke Plapp in the last kilometers. Crowned CLM national champion three days ago, Plapp left the victory to Drubridge, who became Australian champion for the second time in his career after 2013. Out in the final, Liam Walsh (CCACHE x BODYWRAP) completes the podium.
