Just like in FranceTHE Dutch Championships both Men and Women were held this Sunday in Oisterwijk. If the two World Champions Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) et Fem van Empel (Visma | Lease a Bike), ainsi que Lucinda Brand (Baloise Glowi Lions) were missing, but there were still some good people at the start. For women, it is Puck Pieterse (Fenix-Deceuninck) who won after a real demonstration, since she pushed back her runner-up by more than a minute. The podium was completed by Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado (Fenix-Deceuninck) et Denise Betsema (Pauwels Sauzen – Cibel Clementines), while Marianne Vos (Visma | Lease a Bike) a pris la 4e place.

Del Grosso and patron, Nieuwenhuis return solid
For the men, it was much tighter… and that’s Tibor Del Grosso who raised his arms. At the end of an intense battle, the runnerAlpecin-Deceuninck was seeking his first national title among the Elites, at only 22 years old. He was ahead by 7 seconds Pim Ronhaar (Baloise Glowi Lions). Making his return to cyclo-cross on this occasion, after several months disrupted by illness, the outgoing winner Joris Nieuwenhuis (Ridley Racing Team) took 3rd place.
