Before coming to drop off a parcel or a registered letter, the inhabitants of Orsay will need to find out carefully. Indeed, from January 6 to 14, 2025, the Post Office, currently located at 24 rue de Paris, will be closed.
Brand new premises in mid-January
And for good reason, La Poste moves. Indeed, the city's post office will be transferred to brand new premises in place of the old treasury at 1 place du Docteur Ernest Albert. The latter should open its doors in mid-January depending on the smooth progress of the installation work.
“Orcéens will be able to find all the services offered in their former office: postal postage services and reception of parcels and registered mail, financial service and appointments with bank advisors. A distributor will also be installed outside the office,” specifies the municipality.
During this moving period, customers will be able to visit at the office of Villebon-sur-Yvettelocated at 10 place Gérard Nevers, to have access to postal and financial services. Appointments with bank advisors will be held at the Palaiseau office at 8 rue Carnot.
Please note that the services also remain accessible online (www.laposte.fr), or by telephone at 36 31.
