The first deputy mayor of Prayssac, Christophe Roger, spoke at the meeting of the Lot departmental cycle tourism committee (read our December 27 edition). He congratulated President Bernard Alzaga for his commitment and investment as well as the entire team which participates in the operation of the departmental cycle tourism committee.
Christophe Roger said he was delighted with an upcoming event: the 19th European Cycle Tourism Week will take place from July 5 to 12, 2025 in the south of the Lot, precisely in Prayssac. The organizing committee in place for the event works in close partnership with the municipality to welcome around 2,000 expected participants to the city, in good conditions. Currently, Christophe Roger reports that 1,700 are already registered. The municipality intends to be present to show all the interest in our territory and is thinking about what can be done during this exceptional week for the region. Progress has already been made to accommodate all the participants, which will not be an easy task. President Bernard Alzaga intervened to express the imperative need for volunteers, a call will be launched at the beginning of 2025. It will be necessary to count on 50 volunteers per day for the needs of the event. Another great event that departmental cycle tourism has in store for us with the town of Prayssac.
