As the holidays soon come to an end, Remco Evenepoel was visiting the United States as part of the partnership between Soudal Quick-Step and the equipment manufacturer Specializedfor the annual trip to the innovation center of Specialized in Morgan Hill. Accompanied by Mikel Landa, Tim Merlier, Paul Magnier and the local Luke Lamperti, Evenepoel took the opportunity to do some wind tunnel tests – notably in the famous WinTunnel – in order to optimize his performances for next year, which he hopes will be as good as his 2024 season which saw him be a double Olympic champion. Then, after his few tries, he was invited with his teammates to attend an NHL game between the San Jose Sharks and the Detroit Red Wings.
