This Wednesday, the Belgian Cycling federation unveiled the successor to Sven Vanthourenhout for the position of coach. Philippe Gilbert directly reacted to the appointment of Serge Pauwels to the position of coach that he coveted. “I had the hope of becoming a national road cycling coach in order to share my experience and my passion with the current generation.
