The next cycling Tour de France, presented last Tuesday, could pass through the Frontonnais and cross Villaudric… Although the precise routes have not yet been confirmed, on the competition's official website, the video of the 11th stage around Toulouse, scheduled for Wednesday July 16, 2025, suggests that the Grande Boucle could include Villaudric. According to the site “Velofuté”after starting from Toulouse, the runners would head towards Aussonne, Blagnac and Grenade-sur-Garonne before crossing the Pont de Ondes and climbing the hill of Castelnau d'Estrétefonds. The peloton would pass through Fronton on the D29 before reaching Villaudric via the Bouysselet roundabout and leaving towards the stadium via the D63D using the roads of Gourdis, Vacquiers, Beauregard and Binest (already covered by the Tour in the years 1990). Turning at Clos Mignon, they would then head towards Cépet, then Labastide-Saint-Sernin, the coast of Castelmaurou, before continuing towards Girou via Lavalette and heading towards Lauragais to return to Toulouse via Baziège and Castanet . The Pech David hill, with its passages at 20% just 8km from the finish on Boulevard Lascrosse, near Compans Cafarelli, will be the main difficulty of the course. The official details of the roads crossed in the Frontonnais will be available in the spring. To be continued!
