This Wednesday afternoon under radiant sunshine, more than forty children from the Golene Evasion club tested their trial riding skills.
This friendly meeting had several objectives: to allow young people to get together during the holidays and share a friendly moment, to discover this discipline, to check the progress made or to prepare for future trial competitions (offered during the departmental or regional trophies for young mountain bikers). TDJV and TRJV).
This meeting was also the culmination of two days of training supervised by Wilfrid Delolme.
During this afternoon, the young people were able to practice on two areas which they repeated once each. If during official competitions, the trial zones are only carried out once, the supervisors wanted, through this formula, to teach them how to manage stress and make them aware that reconnaissance on foot is very important in this discipline. It was also an opportunity to familiarize yourself with the rules, which are numerous. Moreover, the parents also got involved in the game by getting involved in the role of referee; it was very educational.
To close this meeting, the children shared a snack offered by the club.
