End of the adventure for the U19 Indre Fenioux

The U19 Indre Fenioux team will no longer be present in the pelotons in 2025. Like many, the structure is the victim of a lack of financial partners.

The press release from the U19 Indre Fenioux

It is with heavy hearts but full of gratitude that we look back on these three wonderful years spent together. Three years where our team traveled across and even beyond, allowing our young Indrian cyclists to take on the challenges of European cycling.

As our project reaches the end of the cycle, due to a lack of financial partners, I would like to express my deep pride in having led this adventure alongside extraordinary volunteers: Justin, Nicolas, Yann, Mathieu, David, Thais, Luys, Pascal, Jérôme, Marie, Olivier, Léo, Tony, Mathilde, Jérôme… Your dedication has been the driving force behind our success!

A huge thank you to our partners whose support has been invaluable: Christian Fenioux and Laboratoires Fenioux, the Department of Indre and its president Marc Fleuret, BHM and Hervé Barre, the City of Châteauroux and Minister Gil Avérous, Thoonsen Trading , Cyclespresso 18, POLI, Minoterie Chaussé, Axa and Francis Sarnecki… Your commitment made it possible to bring our project to life, and we are deeply grateful.

To our runners and their families, thank you for trusting us. In total, 26 runners benefited from this great adventure, and I am delighted to share that 60% of the J2 hopefuls are now in national division teams. What pride to see our young talents flourish and shine on the national scene! Overall, over the period, 4 victories including one in UCI6 team rankings, 2 selected for the French team and 4 French champions.

This year again, we had the opportunity to participate in 20 days of racing, 2/3 of which were in the UCI, as well as 10 days of training. Every moment spent together was a source of learning, sharing and friendship.

We are sad to put an end to it, but rich in this invaluable experience. Who knows, maybe the future holds a new adventure in a different form. Stay tuned, because the best is yet to come!

Thank you all for this incredible epic. Together we created memories that will stay with us forever.

Sportingly,

Eric Hervouet
