You had to pay an entrance fee to attend the various events. A prize was awarded to the winners of each of them. Very little information remains on the Manslois Guidon until the Second World War. In the 1950s, the Guidon Manslois had several good riders, including Robert Suire, double winner of the Saint-Claud criterium and twice champion of Poitou-Charentes, who should have turned professional, an ambition thwarted by his call to the flags for the Algerian War. Among the club’s notable events, we note the arrival of leisure cycling, with mountain biking and cycle touring in the early 1990s and above all, in 2002, the creation of the cycling school.

All the young people who have results today have gone through this cycling school. In 2023, four of them won a departmental champion title. In 2022, an initiation circuit, called “circuit des p’tits loups” was created behind the annex football stadium, it thus completed the Manslois sports complex.

Saturday September 28 was dedicated to this anniversary, with several events and an exhibition. The day ended with a meal, in the presence of Robert Suire, and a concert.
