198.6 km of brawling. This is what awaits the peloton on the Belgian roads on Tuesday. Departing from Binche, the runners will first have to reach Chimay before returning to the starting town for a 16 km circuit to be covered five times. The loop notably includes a 3.2 km hill at an average gradient of 2.3%, the first few meters of which are paved. The arrival on an uphill slope with this cobbled passage in rue de la Pépinière before joining the line after a right turn is always a great moment. On the women’s side, the peloton will leave directly from Chimay for 117 km with three laps of the same circuit on the program. Who will succeed Luca Mozzato et Pfeiffer Georgiwinners in 2023?
