On June 22, remind your loved ones that you are donors

In Île-de-France,

  • 32 health establishments are authorized to collect organs, including 15 at the AP-HP which represent:
  • 13% of harvests of all types of grafts combined at the national level;
  • 77% of withdrawals in IDF.
  • 14 health establishments are authorized for the transplant, including 10 at the AP-HP which represent:
  • 24% of national activity;
  • 87% of activity in IDF;
  • 30% of the national waiting list.

Actions planned in AP-HP hospitals

Bichat-Claude-Bernard AP-HP Hospital

  • Exhibition “Organ donation, a chain of life” from June 17 to 24, 2024 (entrance hall), initiated by the organ and tissue donation coordination team.

Beaujon AP-HP Hospital

  • Exhibition “Organ donation, a chain of life” from June 17 to 28, 2024 (reception hall), initiated by the organ and tissue donation coordination team.
  • June 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., information stands run by the organ and tissue donation coordination teams and the Transhépate association.
  • June 27, 2024 at 2:30 p.m., “green ribbon” relay organized by the organ and tissue harvest coordination teams of Île-de-France.

Saint-Louis hospital and Lariboisière AP-HP hospital

  • June 22, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., “prevention, associative, sports” village from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the historic gardens of the Saint-Louis hospital. The event is open to all.
  • Information stands and activities by the organ and tissue donation coordination teams from Saint-Louis and Lariboisière and the patient associations France Adot, France Graffes Cœur Lungs, Transhépate and Trans-forme.

– 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Pilates

– 11 h 00 à 12 h 00 : Cardio training
– 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Demonstration and introduction to self-defense with the Eskrima EAKS association
– 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Zumba all day, a badminton and volleyball challenge is organized on the self-service courts.

Hôpital Cochin -Port-Royal AP-HP

  • Discover the tarpaulin stretched in front of the hospital emergency room on the donation channel. This channel highlights 13 professionals who are involved in the organ donation process in hospitals. This photographic project was carried out by Professor Corinne Miceli, rheumatologist at Cochin hospital and talented photographer.
  • June 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., an awareness stand run by the hospital coordination team will be set up in front of the gates of the Cochin SAU.

Saint-Antoine AP-HP Hospital

  • June 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Horloge building: the organ and tissue donation coordination team, with the participation of transplant recipients, will hold an awareness and information stand
  • June 27, 2024: passage of the relay to Saint-Antoine as part of the donation race.

Tenon AP-HP Hospital

  • June 27, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., main courtyard: the organ and tissue donation coordination team, with the participation of transplant recipients, will hold an awareness and information stand.

Pitié-Salpêtrière AP-HP Hospital

  • June 27, 2024, 2:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., in the UCA parking lot: passage of the “Donation Race”.

– The organ and tissue donation coordination team will hold an awareness and information stand.

– Arrival of the runners and the teams coordinating samples and transplants from hospitals in the WEST Network (HEGP, Necker, Cochin, Versailles, Poissy) and North and East Network (Bichat, Beaujon, Saint-Louis, Saint-Antoine, Saint-Denis, Montfermeil). The race will continue from the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital around 5:30 p.m. at the latest to the Bicêtre hospital. The route will pass through Place d’Italie and Avenue d’Italie where at that time the teams of SOUTH Network we will join to finish with a ceremony at Parc Pinel in Kremlin-Bicêtre.

Bicêtre, Paul-Brousse and Antoine-Béclère AP-HP hospitals

Awareness and information stands on organ donation run by the hospital coordination of organ and tissue harvesting.

For patients, visitors and professionals:

  • Wednesday June 19, 2024 at the Antoine-Béclère AP-HP hospital;
  • Thursday June 20 at the Paul-Brousse AP-HP hospital;
  • Friday June 21 at the Bicêtre AP-HP hospital.

June 27, 2024: Organization of the “Donation Loop” at the initiative of CHPOT Bicêtre, Paul-Brousse and Antoine-Béclère

In order to raise awareness among the general public about organ donation and to promote CHPOT professionals mobilized 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to care for donors and their loved ones, this event brings together 17 CHPOTs from Île-de-France. including 11 from the AP-HP (relay on foot / by bike / on rollerblades with the passing of a green ribbon symbolizing relay from one CHPOT to another).

The arrival will take place at 6 p.m. in Parc Pinel at Kremlin-Bicêtre adjoining the Bicêtre hospital. On this occasion, the City of Kremlin-Bicêtre will become an ambassador city for the donation.
