Lots of changes for this new season of The Voicethe 14th. TF1 unveils this Monday the new jury of its talent show. Mika and Zazie leave the place to two new recruits, the singers Zaz and Patricia Kaas. Vianney finds his seat again, for the 4th season in a row and the 5th time.
And Florent Pagny is making his big comeback, after two years of absence. The singer, who revealed in 2022 that he was suffering from lung cancer, is a pillar of the program. He participated in the first seven seasons of The Voicethen to the 10th and 11th.
Florent Pagny, who sang on stage at the Salle Pleyel in Paris last May, gave an update on his health, explaining that he was being closely monitored and had check-ups every three months and that each time “everything (could) be called into question”.
“Authenticity” and “freshness”
Zaz, who performed at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup in 2023, has never before been a member of the jury of The Voice. “Her authenticity, her frankness and her boundless energy will bring a breath of fresh air to the show,” TF1 promised in a press release.
The singer is preparing her 6th album which she will record this fall and will be on tour next summer.
Patricia Kaas is also new to the world of talent shows. The singer of the unforgettable Miss sings et My boyfriendhas an international career. She gave France 8th place in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009.
