Luc Dionne revealed the series The Callwhich explores the second trial of Maurice “Mom” Boucher, the former leader of the Hells Angels. In 1997, in the middle of the biker war in Quebec, the murder of two prison guards marked a turning point. The series highlights the hard work of prosecutor France Charbonneau and the Carcajou squad, who joined forces to end Maurice Boucher’s reign of terror.
As reported by 7 Jours magazine host Pierre-François Legendre shared a funny anecdote about his very first official meeting with actress Magalie Lépine-Blondeau, a meeting which did not go as he had imagined.
On the set of The CallPierre-François recounted, with a good dose of humor, that he had tried to break the ice during a scene with Magalie. Having never met her before, he had the idea of complimenting her on her hair to lighten the mood.
Magalie’s hairstyle, inspired by 1990s fashion, didn’t really seem to please the actress herself. So much so that Pierre-François, convinced that it was a wig, wanted to make a comment that he thought was flattering. Unfortunately, his remark did not have the desired effect, and Magalie greeted him with a certain coldness, creating a slight unease according to the actor’s own admissions.

Vincent Graton who plays Maurice “Mom” Boucher is particularly stunning and looks so much like Mom Boucher. The actor is known for his ability to adapt to various roles. With a career spanning several decades, he has captivated viewers with his performances in must-see series such as Rooms in town et 19-2. His playing, combining depth and sincerity, has allowed him to establish himself as a major figure in the artistic community of Quebec.
An excellent choice to play such a character!
