Since its creation in 2011, Friday anything goes has become a must-see show on TF1. The concept, which was developed in several countries such as Vietnam, Korea, Italy, Spain, and even China, was able to seduce viewers thanks to its atmosphere and its crazy games. Among the most famous, the “Leaning Decor” is a star in the game, but this cult element sometimes has its setbacks, as Arthur recounted during his appearance in C to youFriday January 24.
Arthur returns to the creation of the Leaning Decor, which regularly causes injuries in Friday anything goes with Arthur
The Pendent Decor is one of the most emblematic events of Friday anything goes. The stage is tilted at 22.5° and the guest celebrities must perform improvised scenes while trying not to lose their balance. But this leaning decor is not without consequences, as Arthur explained: “At 22 degrees, you don’t slip. At 23, we can’t stand up (…) It took us three and a half months with engineers to get the right distance.” This inclination increases the probability of the number of falls, slips and therefore shocks, but as Arthur admitted, it can be very dangerous. Indeed, when the decor does not slide enough, Arthur finds himself sometimes obliged to create an opportunity for the guests to fall: “When it doesn’t drop enough, he adds more. For example, he says: ‘We make a doctor operating, but the doctor takes off his shoes.’ No one ever understands why. We find ourselves in socks, and as a result, we slide much better” Cartman explains.
Arnaud Tsamere urgently evacuated after filming Friday anything goes with Arthur
Falls are obviously an integral part of the game, but they do not escape a few incidents. Arthur also admitted that there had been several injuries over the years: “We had a lot of injuries on this leaning stage…” He confides that Arnaud Tsamere was urgently evacuated after a bad fall, and that Cartman also suffered during filming. Arthur clarified: “Arnaud Tsamere was very, very hurt. We had to evacuate him urgently, but he’s basically cozy.” Concerning Cartman, the host also mentioned a particularly delicate situation when he was on this leaning set: “Camille Combal gave me a little sweep, I really went down the whole set without touching the floor. There was a stool that fell with its legs like that and I got deflowered by the stool. It’s really the stool leg in the rectum.”
