Wild animals in circuses
The law of November 30, 2021 against animal abuse prohibits the possession, transport and shows including the presence of non-domestic animals. Several municipalities have promulgated decrees against hosting circuses, with animals, on their territory. However, they were rejected, and can still settle in the communes. Journalist and founder of “Marianne” Jean-François Kahn has died
Jean-François Kahn, French journalist and essayist, died at the age of 86, according to information from our colleagues at Point this Thursday January 23, 2025. The founder of the magazine Marianne was a regular in Avallonnais, where he had a second home, in the Isle-sur-Serein sector, in the hamlet of Marzy in Angely. His portrait can be found here.
