While she is back in the cinema after enjoying a long break away from the cameras, Cameron Diaz confided that she is ready to return to the role that revealed her in The Mask.
Nostalgia for the 1990s and 2000s is far from over. Cameron Diaz has just made his comeback to the cinema and would even be ready to reprise his role in a sequel to The Mask. For almost ten years, the actress preferred to move away from the film industry and take a break from the cameras. Today she is starring in the film Back in Action, with Jamie Foxx, and could well get back to projects. So why not take the opportunity to revive a cult film from the 1990s? During an interview given to Access Hollywood the journalist pointed out to him that Jim Carrey would be willing to reprise his role of Stanley Ipkiss in a remake of The Mask. What about Cameron Diaz? “Oh my God ! Did he really say that?”, the actress responds. “If Jim agrees, I agree. I was his number one fan from day one.”

A return to Charlie’s Angels ?
It would seem that The Mask is not the only film from the 1990s-2000s in which Cameron Diaz could reprise his role. During this same interview, the journalist asks him if the daughters of Charlie’s Angels will one day return. “That would be great,” replies the actress Night and Day. And the idea did not fall on deaf ears. By his side during the interview, Jamie Foxx explains that he would be up for playing the role of Bosely. “We welcome Lucy (Liu, editor’s note) in an hour. We hope that she will be of the same opinion as you, Cameron,” adds the journalist. “Amazing, I’m going to message him right away and introduce him to Jamie (Foxx, NDLR) to play Bosely,” says Cameron Diaz, laughing with his on-screen partner. It’s hard to resist the return of these legendary films, for them… as for us.
