Madonna is not used to keeping her emotions quiet and it is on her Instagram story that she has chosen to let the world know how she feels since the inauguration of Donald Trump. To do this, the singer chose to deliver a tribute to Martin Luther King, who would have celebrated his birthday on January 15, and who was recognized for his non-violent struggle against segregation and for peace.

“I prefer to focus on what we have to be grateful for. Great leaders like Martin Luther King. Courageous leaders who truly fought for love. Not for separation, degradation or violent threats of any kind towards anyone,” the star writes.
