Benoît Salmon, the candidate who keeps winning in “Don’t forget the words!” » on France 2.

TELEVISION – This is a new record for one of the PAF’s most famous shows. Benoît Salmon became the biggest winner in the history of Don’t forget the lyrics!the musical game show broadcast on France 2. This 31-year-old photographer has collected the sum of 539,000 euros since December 2 during his 80 victories, a series in progress.

The one who lives in the village of La Cornuaille, about thirty kilometers from in Maine-et-, surpassed Margaux and her 530,000 euros in winnings, a record which had stood since February 3, 2020. Before her, it was Laurens who posted the biggest cumulative gain in the history of the game (457,000 euros, November 30, 2023).

He now indicates that he wants to offer himself “little follies”, “some trips” “with a backpack”. Without forgetting to want to invest the rest, to ensure “an annuity”. Benoît will only receive his winnings when he is eliminated.

Friday, the former record holder Margaux exchanged a few friendly words with him by videoconference during the show presented by Nagui. “Honestly, you deserve it, surpass me and go to 600,000 if you can, that would be so good”she challenged him. “ I never would have believed it, Margaux. I thought it was impossible. Since Laurens, I told myself that it was dead”, Benoît told him.

However, there will still be room for this one to beat the largest cumulative gain in the history of television: 1,961,615 euros, current series, by Émilien in the show The Twelve Strokes of Midday on TF1.
