The semi-finals of the main cup took place on Sunday at Chambon-sur-Lignon and Saint-Julien-Chapteuil with twelve teams competing for four places in the final.
In Saint-Julien-Chapteuil, the little surprise came from the qualification of FC Arzon to the detriment of Velay FC, who was the favorite with Olympic Saint-Julien-Chapteuil.
Author of a flawless performance, the Olympic easily qualifies for the final. The Meygal club will have the opportunity to defend its title next Saturday, January 25 in the evening, normally at home.
FC Arzon finally took over Velay FC. The two teams were unable to score and decide between themselves. The decision was made on penalties.
-At Chambon-sur-Lignon, the teams from Sucs et Lignon and Saint-Pierre-Eynac took the two qualifying tickets. Brioude, off to a good start in the tournament, collapsed. The USSL, apart from one defeat, won all its matches. Saint-Pierre-Eynac finishes just ahead of US2MR/Haut-Lignon.
