This Saturday January 18, 2025, TF1 broadcasts the second semi-final of the Star Academy 2024. After Marine and Charles, it is Ebony and Franck who face each other (with kindness obviously) for a place in the final, against the Lilleoise. And one moment in particular got people talking on social media.
Ebony and Franck were in the spotlight this evening. Indeed, the show was dedicated to them and they had the opportunity to perform numerous performances alone or as a duo. We think, for example, of Thierry Cham’s daughter with Youssou N’Dour on 7 Seconds. Once again, Internet users were there to start the show for better, but unfortunately also for worse.

During the prime, we were treated to a sublime sung/danced scene on Unholy, by Sam Smith. A moment which was eagerly awaited by fans of the show, but they had a little surprise. If everyone agreed that the performance of Franck and Ebony was masterful, a detail to be surprised. Last week, the young woman proposed a painting on the title Tattoo. She saw herself singing with Egyptian-themed decor and outfits. A dream that she had not been able to realize since it was Franck who had won the right to paint her painting.
-But surprise, it was in outfits reminiscent of Egypt that the two semi-finalists made their entrance. And the DA was on the same theme. Very quickly, Internet users thought about what Ebony had proposed last week and it didn’t really please them.
“Someone has to explain to me why they didn’t validate Ebony’s DA last week to use it this week…”, “Mdrrr they pumped the DA from Ebony’s table I’m dying”, “The staging they pumped what Ebony wanted for her painting on Tattoo?? “, “They need to explain to me why they didn’t validate Ebony’s AD last week to use it this week…”, “It’s really the AD that Ebony proposed at her audition this week last lol“, we could read in particular.
Fortunately, that didn’t stop them from enjoying the show.
