If the cast of stars is now complete, that of the dancers is still moving.
Anthony Colette revealed this Wednesday on Instagram that he had been excluded from the flagship TF1 show, “Dancing with the Stars“, three weeks before the start of season 14.
“It would be a lie to pretend that I voluntarily chose to end this adventure now. I’m also not going to pretend to say that it was the right time, because I haven’t decided anything“wrote the 29-year-old choreographer, born in Avignon.
“I don’t necessarily understand”
Why was the young man, present since 2017, sidelined? He doesn’t say it. And the management of the show has not spoken officially. “I don’t necessarily understand the reasons for my absence, of course, but life has decided otherwise, and I must accept.”
Several media suggest a relationship with Natasha St-Pier, alongside whom he won season 13. The Canadian singer made an impression, not so much for her talent on the floor as for her altercation with comedian Inès Reg, which led to the filing of two handrails and the removal of Natasha St-Pier from the show for three days.
“Don’t worry, I won’t criticize this program that I loved so much, nor all the wonderful people I had the chance to meet”assured Anthony Colette. “I hope that the new young dancers, who will join the team, will be able to experience everything I experienced (well, almost everything eh, only the good things).”
“Know that I regret nothing, except perhaps having been too nice and naive sometimes, if I mayhe added. I did my best every year.”
Anthony Colette also danced with actress Joy Esther, Miss France and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, actress and singer Elsa Esnoult, actress Lucie Lucas as well as Miss France 2021 Amandine Petit.
