Ycare upset by the tragedy of a loved one
While he was in a jazz bar, immersing himself in his addiction, he received a message: a close friend had just had a car accident, which caused the death of three children in Dakar. “He hit a small makeshift house, children sleepingas unfortunately often happens, for those who do not have a roof over their heads. He was coming home from a wedding, he had drunk too much and he fell asleep at the wheel. On a speed bump, he left the road and killed three kids, 6, 9, 12 years old, in front of their parents who were sleeping.”tells Ycare in the podcast Turn : “I have taken this road a thousand times when leaving the club (…) These speed bumps, I took them at 100 km/h and plenty of times, I could have deviated. It fell on him and his life was ruined.”

From one dream to another, I didn’t say to myself: ‘you’re going to stop gradually, you’re going to see a psychiatrist, get medication’. You know what? ‘Move your ass’.
