The first edition of the Victoires de la Musique was broadcast in November 1985. If our calculations are correct, This year, the program will celebrate its fortieth anniversary! Program recorded in the past at the Moulin Rouge, the Zénith de Paris, the Palais des Congrès, the Olympia and the Zénith de Lille. But since 2018, it is the Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt which hosts the Victories and the show is it's on France 2 and France Inter that the show is broadcast. Small peculiarity: it is not the public which chooses the winners but an academy of voters composed of 600 people. This is, moreover, one of the reasons why some artists shun this meeting deeming it too stilted even if the “Original Song” is designated by the public votes.
When will the 2025 edition be released?
The Victoires de la musique 2025 will be broadcast on Valentine's Day, namely on February 14, 2025. The show is not not recorded but presented live by Léa Salamé and Cyril Féraud. This is the second time that the duo will be at the helm of the program. In fact, they started to present the meeting in 2024.

Which artists have won the most awards?
First of all, with 13 victories, Alain Bashung and Matthieu Chedid are the artists to have been awarded the most during the ceremony. Furthermore, the rapper Orelsan won 12 awards at this stage. Then, on the third step of the podium, we find Johnny Hallyday and Alain Souchon with 10 trophies. Finally, Vanessa Paradis et StromaThey left with 7 Victories during their careers, 6 for Benjamin Biolay, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Patricia Kaas, Renaud and Zazie.
“Victoires de la musique”: who presented the show?
In forty years, many presenters (and singers) presented these Victories. This year, as in 2024, it is Léa Salamé and Cyril Féraud who will be in charge of the ceremony. In the past, Daniel Balavoine was the first presenter of the event. It was then followed by Renaud. During the third edition, a duo was finally formed with Alain Souchon and Laurent Voulzy.
