Since his first appearance on the air on December 2, 2024, the 31-year-old candidate has had a string of victories and has just gained in the top 3 of the great champions of the show.
Over 1100 songs reviewed before participating in Don’t Forget the Lyrics
The thirty-year-old is originally from Maine-et-Loire where he serves as independent photographer in the world of eventsas he tells TV Star. Single and sharing a flat with four friends, Benoît is a fan of the program. “I’ve known the show for a very long time! In 2011, I did a first casting call to participate but I didn’t even pass the first stage. It was 13 years ago, I was 18!”
A decade later, Benoît trained hard to join the show presented by the husband of actress Mélanie Page. The actor holding the silver microphone says having reviewed “more than 1100 songs” before the filming of Don’t forget the lyrics. After joining the leading trio, Benoît has just achieved another feat this Saturday January 11. By achieving a 68th victory on his record (in the video below), the unbeatable maestro overtook Laurens, the former number two in the ranking, who congratulated him on Instagram. “Huge congratulations Benoit for achieving this place, well deserved, hoping that you go even further!” by adding. “I’m super proud of you. Next goal for the current runner-up : dethrone Margaux, the greatest champion of all time on the show who left with 530,000 euros in winnings. “For the moment, beating Margaux, I’m not even thinking about it. It’s too far,” he admits to our colleagues. With a prize pool currently amounting to 457,000 euros, what will he do with his fortune?

“I really want to invest this money to relieve myself in life,” he reveals to the magazine. “Being independent has many advantages, but it also has its disadvantages and my earnings will help me to be more financially serene. Then, I want to do a little crazy thing! I want to invest in equipment for music and photography, and I would also like to go on a trip to Nepal with my mother.”
