He is one of the 15 farmers of the new season of Love is in the meadow which we are sure will make us experience beautiful emotions in front of our small screen. This Monday, February 13, M6 will broadcast the first evening of portraits of this anniversary edition – the twentieth – of the program played by Karine Le Marchand. The biggest fans of the show can already discover the inaugural episode on M6+ in preview. On this occasion, they will meet Antoine, a 45-year-old farmer from Lorraine. Warning, the next few lines of this article contain spoilers! At the beginning of his portrait, Antoine presents himself in the professional aspect of his life. It is with cows that he works alongside his cousin Gabriel. In total, its 60 cows produce milk sold to a cooperative on 200 hectares of land. Antoine prefers to take care of the crops while his cousin takes care of the cows.
Love is in the meadow 2025: why Antoine did not submit his application to the show himself
On the personal side, his father, aged 77, has lived alone since the sudden death of his wife in 2016 and Arnaud, his eldest son, still lives with him because he has a disability. Subsequently, the farmer explains that he has a real social life. He then goes to visit friends named Muriel, Pascal and their daughter Amélie who have decided to submit his application to participate in Love is in the meadow. “We spent time, a good two hours, to write this letter“, notes the mother of the family. “We wrote because I’m tired of seeing you alone, it hurts me“, adds her daughter who has carefully kept the draft of the letter she sent to the production of the show. “I am a very smiling and generous man“, she had notably written in his place.

Back facing Karine Le Marchand, Antoine explains that he didn’t believe in his chances. “At first I said ‘write the letter, it won’t work anyway’, he testifies.For what ?
