The 52-year-old actress has made it her duty to help her community since the fires started. Businesswoman and wealthy heiress Paris Hilton, 43, herself lost her Malibu home and witnessed its destruction live on television. She launched an emergency fund through her non-profit 11:11 Media Impact to “support displaced families with young children” and donated US$100,000 which she promises to double when they will have raised $100,000 from the public. “As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies,” she wrote on Instagram. The money will help provide short-term housing and hotel stays for families, deliver necessities and supplies to evacuation centers, and support local animal shelters.

Very involved since the start of the devastating fires in Los Angeles, Jamie Lee Curtis donated one million dollars to a relief fund for communities affected by the ongoing fires. “I am in communication with Governor Newsom, Mayor Bass and Senator Schiff about where these funds should be directed to have the most impact,” the 66-year-old actress wrote on Instagram.

She said she was hosting people around her at her home. The actress also says she plans to make donations to help fire victims once she is sure her loved ones are taken care of.

“My family and I wanted to feed a few fire stations today and we couldn’t find a better restaurant than Carousel. They have prepared hundreds of individual meals for so many firefighters, volunteers, first responders, and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you for risking your life for all of us,” Khloé Kardashian wrote in an Instagram post on Friday.
