On January 7, 2015, two terrorists attacked the editorial office of Charlie Hebdoleaving much of the team decimated. This attack, perpetrated in the name of intolerance towards caricatures and the right to blasphemy, marked French society. Ten years later, debates around freedom of expression, secularism and the right to blasphemy continue to provoke passionate reactions.
In this context, Gilles Ganzmann chose to ask Angélique Angarni-Filopon for her opinion on the matter. A moment which caused discomfort on set.
Visibly surprised, Miss France 2025 actually refused to say: “I am Charlie“. “I don’t prefer to say. Non…“, she added. A reaction which unleashed passions.

Although the declarations of Angélique Angarni-Filopon at the microphone of South Radio triggered a wave of hatred, several Internet users came to his defense and gave him their support.
