On X, we can follow the trial, in particular thanks to the publications of Vincent Vantighem, BFM TV reporter who is attending the trial. This Thursday, January 9, he wrote: “We now move on to the Morocco episode where Stéphane Plaza is accused of having ‘proposed’ A (A is the name of his former partner) to the people with whom he was in contact”. Before adding: “The TV host pleads the thesis of heavy humor. He recognizes this sentence: ‘How many camels are you offering me for A.?'”.

“According to A., the host Emmanuelle Rivassoux was present during the exchange. On the stand, Stéphane Plaza said that Emmanuelle Rivassoux was not there. Problem, this one testified to the contrary”, notes the journalist. Before adding: “Emmanuelle Rivassoux made a statement to investigators recounting a meal where Stéphane Plaza passed A. off as a ‘call girl’. According to her, ‘everyone was embarrassed at the table…'”.

Since the start of the trial, Stéphane Plaza has firmly denied the accusations of violence. “I don’t know why (she says that). I don’t know why I’m being accused. Why am I here? (…) I’m used to doing humor, a bit of a rehearsal comedy. I may have said it several times.” he explained. Before recognizing: “Indeed, I’m not faithful. But I’m not for things with others.”
