Famous personalities sometimes share a family relationship with other celebrities. This is apparently the case of former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, who is none other than the cousin of Véronique de Villèle, member of the legendary duo Véronique and Davina. There are others, of course, such as French journalist Stéphanie Renouvin who shares a very close bond with Sean Connery. Either way, just because two people have the same last name doesn’t mean they necessarily come from the same family tree. If some people wonder about the links between Gabriel Attal and Yvan Attal, or even between Christophe Beaugrand and Cassandre Beaugrand, what about Pierrette Lalanne and Francis Lalanne?
Born in 1935 in Aire-sur-l’Adour, in the Landes, Pierrette Lalanne is a former model from the Landes bourgeoisie, mainly known for having married Jean-Marie Le Pen – who died this Tuesday January 7, 2025 at the age of 96 – in the 1960s. She remained Le Pen for 24 years, before filing for divorce. Mother of Marine Le Pen – and of Marie-Caroline and Yann -, she decided to leave the family home in 1984 to find the journalist Jean Marcilly, responsible for writing the biography of the founder of the National Front (now renamed National Rally) . The two ex-spouses will then tear each other apart via media during the entirety of their divorce proceedings.
For his part, Francis Lalanne was born in 1958 in Bayonne, in the Basque Country. (…)
