LSuccession seems assured among the Canet-Cotillards. Marcel, son of Guillaume and Marion, already has, at the age of 13, the comedy virus instilled in his blood. Interviewed this weekend on the TF1 show 50′ insideGuillaume Canet told how he offered Marcel his first role in the film Asterix and Obelix: the Middle Kingdomreleased in 2023 – Marcel briefly played young Asterix, in a flashback.
“It was great,” recalled the director-actor, specifying that he was still stressed for his eldest. “But he really wanted it, so from the moment he wants it, we have to give him a leg up. And I just as much preferred it to happen with me…”
