It’s been almost a year and a half since Guillaume Bats left us. The 1is June 2023, the comedian was found dead at his home by his friend and producer Jérémy Ferrari, who had gone to his home because of his worrying silence: “I arrived, heard the dog in the apartment and kicked in the door“, he said during an interview with Mouloud Achour in Clique on Canal+. “I went in and found Guillaume there. It’s always extremely shocking, Guillaume was more than a comedian, he was like a little brother to me. We were together all the time. Obviously, this is extremely traumatic.“Guillaume Bats suffered from an incurable disease, brittle bone disease.

This Saturday January 4, Jérémy Ferrari was invited to the set of What an era! on France 2in the company of Arnaud Tsamère and Baptiste Lecaplain. The three acolytes collaborate on stage in The trio’s tour that they play across France until next June. Jérémy Ferrari’s touching tribute to Guillaume Bats
Following his speech, Jérémy Ferrari expressed his regrets, as he would have liked to see Guillaume Bats finalize other projects before his death, including a film at the cinema: “It’s a little sad because we told him that he was coming to the trio a few weeks before he died and I had to make a film with him too. It’s a bit sad, because he missed two projects that were really close to his heart. He dreamed of going on tour with us. He also dreamed of making films. It’s always sad when someone leaves, but it’s true that we can’t help but say to ourselves: ‘If he had left even after these two projects…’ We obviously think like that. It’s the same thing, but it’s a shame he couldn’t experience it with us.“
