If for some, love rhymes with forever, for others unfortunately, 2024 marks the end of their story. A look back at these couples whose paths separated this year.
They are young, beautiful, made us dream and yet!
The glamorous and chic couple formed by actress Natalie Portman and French choreographer Benjamin Millepied could not resist the gentleman's supposed infidelity. They divorced after eleven years of marriage and two children, Aleph (12 years old) and Amalia (7 years old).
Eight years after their meeting (and a marriage in 2019), Charlotte Casiraghi and producer Dimitri Rassam (son of Carole Bouquet) separate at the initiative of the princess. She actually criticizes her partner for being too busy with his work and lacking time for his family. The couple had a son, Balthazar, aged 6.
An American love story!
We expected it: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are definitely separated. They met for the first time in 2001 to live a passionate two-year affair. Then everyone goes about their lives (and their children) to meet again twenty years later! The “Bennifers” want to give themselves a second chance and build a new blended family (five children between them). But last spring, J.Lo announced that she was separated from the actor and filed for divorce during the summer.
They will not celebrate their ruby wedding anniversary!
Big surprise on the other hand for Paul and Luana Belmondo! They were an exception among the celebrities: married for thirty-four years, parents of three boys (Alessandro, Victor and Giacomo), grandparents of a little Mahé, the couple will not, however, grow old together. It was Luana who announced their separation on Instagram, after discovering that Paul was having a relationship with another woman. Let us hope that time will soothe this sad epilogue.
