France 3 is offering to extend the spirit of the end-of-year celebrations with a competition of choirs from across the country this Friday, December 27, 2024 as a bonus on France 3. Cyril Féraud will be at the helm of this edition of the Great regional competition titled Who will be the best choir in France?.
After the folk songs in January 2024, France 3 is offering this time, just after Christmas, choirs to prolong the wonder. Presented by Cyril Féraud, this variation of Grand Competition of the regions aims to elect the best vocal ensemble in France this Friday, December 27 from 9:10 p.m.. Ten mainland and overseas territories will follow one another on the stage of the Royal Palace of Kirrwiller in Alsace. “This program is a way of highlighting the richness of the regions, but also the diversity of all the choirs of France”confides the host, enthusiastically. Thus, among all groups, some are made up only of children, women or even the elderly. In addition to the choir director, an artistic director supervises each choir so that the show is the best possible.
Who will be the best choir in France? :Magali Ripoll (Don’t forget the lyrics) and a former teacher of Star Academy in the jury of the show hosted by Cyril Féraud
To choose the winners, no public vote. This is the jury made up of the host Laurent Luyat, the singers Vincent Niclo and Magali Ripoll and a new addition, Adeline Toniutti, the former singing teacher of the Star Academy, who has full powers. A role that is far from easy, if we are to believe the singer in Don’t forget the lyrics. “We made our brains smoke because our hearts were swinging. We were forced to make choices and that’s what was painful“she notes, while appreciating the “kindness” of the program and its function in the quartet. “We don’t have a particular role, but, as usual, there is a little clown inside me”she tells us, amused.
Surprising and varied interpretations in The great regional competition special Who will be the best choir in France?
If viewers will have the right to traditional See on your way (popularized by the film The Choirs) brilliantly performed by Breton children, they will undoubtedly be more surprised by the rock of Salt and Pepper, a troupe from Hauts-de-France which inspired the film Heart of rockers (with Mathilde Seigner) and dont the average age announced is… 73 years old ! Other original compositions: world music from the company representing Occitania, as well as the Christmas composition performed by representatives of Polynesia, which particularly touched Magali Ripoll. “They come to offer us their smiles from so far away”she marvels. Joy, sweetness and spectacle, that’s also the magic of Christmas.
