Holding it up on stage, he revealed that it was the bass's first appearance since its passing: “I haven't played it in 50 years. »
He then introduced another surprise, telling the crowd: “And what's more, we have a special guest here for you. A Rolling Stone. Ronnie Wood'. As Wood took the stage, the two dove into “Get Back,” footage of which you can see below.
Once the song finished, the two shared a quick hug, before McCartney raised Wood's hand and said: “Thank you Ronald.” »

After finishing the songs, Starr said, “Give up. I'm leaving now but I had a good evening. It's fantastic to play with my old friend, but there comes a time when you have to go home. All that remains to be said, I'll see you next time.
Before joining Macca on stage, the Beatles drummer was spotted in the VIP section of the audience, watching the show with excited fans taking photos and videos of the legend nearby.
Elsewhere during his set, McCartney ran through his extensive discography, performing his solo hits aside from the many Beatles and Wings songs he performed. The setlist included classics like “Hey Jude,” “Wonderful Christmastime,” “Let It Be,” “In Spite of All the Danger,” “Letting Go” and more.
McCartney also performed The Beatles' track “Now And Then” from last year, which he said earlier in the tour made him “very emotional.”
“Now And Then” was recently nominated for Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
While teasing the project for months, Starr revealed that he thought the project was “beautiful” and later admitted that working on the track was “like finding John Lennon.”
“Now And Then” was created from one of John Lennon's demo tapes and was completed with the help of AI, which was used to extract the late musician's vocals from the original recording in order to so Macca and Starr could work with them.
