Adil Rami, former 2018 world champion with Team France, was recently announced as a participant in the next season of Dancing with the stars. If this news delighted some viewers, it also sparked a strong reaction from his ex-partner, Léna Guillou.
The former candidate of Marseillewho shared the footballer's life from 2021 to 2023, expressed his anger on Instagram, denouncing the media treatment reserved for his ex-partner. Statements which come after Adil Rami had already faced similar accusations in the past, notably from Pamela Anderson.
Léna Guillou denounces the adulation towards Adil Rami
On her Instagram account, Léna Guillou did not hide his shock after learning of Adil Rami's participation in the TF1 show.
I thought I would get out of all that completely but in fact I live very badly the fact that we continue to idolize a psychopath.
She went on to express a deep sense of injustice:
It's as if you feel that the person hasn't broken you down enough in the past and that the final blow is that, whatever happens, people will like your tormentor.
Visibly upset, the 28-year-old young woman spoke about the difficulty of talking about control and the criticism she continues to receive:
You feel like shit, as if your suffering was worthless, as if evil was constantly winning. Fear too, fear of reprisals, fear of being told off.”but you just had to not go back there” as if the notion of control did not exist.
“I have an appointment with a psychologist on Wednesday…”
Léna Guillou confided that the announcement of the 38-year-old footballer's participation in Dancing with the starswould have prevented her from falling asleep. The next day, she reportedly sought a specialist service to discuss her emotional distress.

Despite this difficult situation, the influencer did not mention the production, nor even the other participants of the program. Among them, we find Florent Manaudou, Olympic swimming champion, and Lénie, revelation of the Star Academy 2023. As for Adil Rami, he seems determined to take his first steps on the floor despite the persistent controversies.
