While tributes are multiplying following the death on December 1 of Niels Arestrup, at age 75, some voices are becoming more discreet. Asked by The ParisianIsabelle Adjani is one of those who recognize the acting qualities of the one who left his mark on the world of cinema in A Prophet in particular.
“Niels Arestrup was a great actor, I share this opinion, that of many artists and his audience,” she conceded. However, she qualifies: “Personally, I unfortunately have nothing positive to say about the man. My memory of the theater partner remains a striking trauma.”
“A poor guy”
