A few days before recording the traditional Christmas concert, the Princess of Wales shares a moving letter on her social networks this Sunday.

She breaks her silence again. As the holidays approach, Kate Middleton revealed a letter, which she posted on her social networks this Sunday, December 1, the first day of Advent. “Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a time of celebration and joy, but it also gives us the opportunity to take our time to reflect on the deeper things that connect us all,” writes the Princess of Wales.

“It's when we stop and step away from the pressures of everyday life that we find the space to live our lives with an open heart, with love, kindness and forgiveness – that's a lot of what the spirit of Christmas,” continues the wife of Prince William, with whom she would disagree on the future of Prince George.

“Love, the greatest gift”

Kate Middleton, who is going through a difficult year after announcing she is suffering from cancer, then describes “love” as the “greatest gift we can receive”. “Not just at Christmas, but every day of our lives,” she proclaims. Love is the light that shines, even in our darkest moments. We all have something to offer each other. Gentle words or a receptive ear, an arm around an exhausted shoulder or just staying silently with someone.” Words that echo the princess' video message published last September when she announced the end of her chemotherapy. She said in part: “Above all, this time has reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple but important things in life that so many of us take for granted. To simply love and be loved.”
