Thursday November 28, 2024, in an interview with Le Parisien, Eddy Mitchell assured that he was doing better. “As you can see, I stopped drinking alcohol and I'm not any worse off. I drink wine, but now I'm in the water. I stopped smoking a year ago. month”he said before revealing: “I had severe pneumonia, I still spent three days in the hospital. I've been smoking since I was 14, a pack a day.”.

The same day, for Gala, the 82-year-old singer declared: “I had pneumonia and, frankly, I didn’t know it was this bad.
