The streets of Los Angeles witnessed the reunion of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The actor took a few days away from the sets of the thriller RIP, which he films with his friend Matt Damon, to find his first ex-wife. Thursday, November 28, on the occasion of Thanksgiving, the former couple lent a hand to the association The Midnight Mission.

With white aprons on their shoulders and charlottes in their hair, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner joined volunteers from the association – which provides food and help to people in need – to distribute meals to 2,000 homeless people. Their three children, Violet, Finet Samuelaged 18, 15 and 12 respectively, discreetly rolled up their sleeves alongside them, reports Deadline. Actress Sarah Paulson was also seen among the volunteers.

Filmed and photographed, the two actors, who have been married for more than thirteen years, were seen side by side very smiling and chatting comfortably. Despite their separation in 2018, they remained on good terms and are regularly seen with their children, ensuring their shared custody.

Ben Affleck, “very happy in life”

“He is very happy in life,” assured People earlier this week, citing a source close to Ben Affleck. Freshly separated from Jennifer Lopez, the 52-year-old actor is currently in divorce proceedings. A highly publicized blowback, grandiose weddings and two years of love later, Bennifer had put an end to his tumultuous romance. Officialized at the end of August, the couple's separation dated back to April 26. “It’s like my fucking world exploded,” JLo commented in an interview, looking back on her complicated personal and professional year – she notably canceled her tour.
